French Louis XIV Ormolu mounted turtleshell quarter repeating alarm table clock,
early 18th C, signed Sicot Düjardin à Versailles. Enamel dial with Roman numerals
and arabic five-minute markers, pierced blued hands and engraved alarm disc,
Single barrel four-movements with shaped plates and ring turned knoped pillars
similarly signed, verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, pull wind alarm
on a bell, pull wind quarter repeating on two bells with three hammers,
single barrel with tandem drive, countwheel half hour striking on a bell,
ormolu lined turtleshell veneered Tête de Poupée case surmounted
by a shaped finial, pierced frets backed by blue silk to the sides
and foliate scroll mounts flanking the hinged glazed bezel,
enamel signature plaque signed Sicot A Versailies (sic!),
rectangular plinth on claw feet.

Dutch blue-painted and parcel-gilt carved wood bracket clock
on wall bracket by J.P.Kroese, Amsterdam. Mid-18th Century.
The waisted case with pierced brass side panels and a giltwood
vase finial, the polychrome painted brass dial plate decorated
with Neptune and Mercury emblematic of Trade, standing in front
of wooden barrels and crates, with ships at sea in the background,
one crate inscribed VoC, the white enamel Roman and Arabic dial
signed J.P. KROESE/AMSTERDAM, pierced and engraved brass hour
and minute hands, the five pillar twin chain-fusee movement
with anchor escapement and silk suspension, Dutch-style half-hourly
strike on two bells with trip repeat, the wall bracket
with carved parcel-gilt C-scrolls, flowers and leaves.

Rue St-Louis 1741-47).
20-cm relief brass dial with cartouche blue Roman numerals,
movement with baluster pillars,
small anchor escapement and silk suspended pendulum,
half-hourly countwheel strike on a bell,
Quarter repeat strike on three bells.
shaped boulle inlaid case adorned throughout
with foliate ormolu scrolls,
the whole raised on triangular feet,
together with a matching ogee shaped bracket.

Exceptionally rare very small Cartel d'Alcôve with secret,
signed Isaac Lenoir à Lyon, circa 1700-1730, in a
remarkable original condition.
Shaped Boulle inlaid case adorned throughout
with foliate ormolu scrolls, the base sliding out
forwards through a dovetail slide.
13-piece cartouche enamel dial on ormolu base, with
blue Roman numerals and finely cut gilt hands.
15-day movement with quarter-strike on demand only,
with three hammers and three bells.
Verge escapement and silk suspension.
